I have known Dr. Joe since 1998. We started working together at a Treatment Center in Newport Beach. He has the expertise and true understanding of addiction. He treats the patients with the outmost respect and the best treatment possible. Dr. Joe understands the medical aspect of addiction and mental health as well as the physical issues that come along with anybody who suffers from substance abuse and eating disorder to help with their emotional pain. Dr. Joe’s ability to treat you as a person and have conversations with you helps you feel much better about yourself and understand that recovery from addiction is a possibility.

I was referred to Dr. DeSanto while in a treatment center. I was new to recovery and honestly, I felt hopeless. Meeting and working with Dr. DeSanto absolutely changed my life. He understands everything I am going through both physically and emotionally. Karen, the nurse who runs the office is so kind and always accommodating when I have schedule changes. She really puts me at ease and knows this business inside and out. I recently hit a year of sobriety, and it is definitely because of Dr. DeSanto and his staff. I have never been happier and healthier in my life. I could not be more grateful to have Dr. DeSanto as part of my recovery journey.

Dr. DeSanto, Dr. Peprah and their amazing Office/Nurse Manager Karen are seriously the best! They always treat me with respect and genuinely care for my wellbeing. Karen has jumped through many hoops for me and my care, in the almost 2 years I have been a patient. I truly appreciate how hard her and the doctors work for all their patients! I am so grateful they choose to do what they do, even though I am sure it is not easy.
